Fremantle & The City Tour
There's so much to see and do in Fremantle, you almost need a week to immerse yourself in the culture. ‘Freo’ as the locals know it, is a bustling little town centered around a historical shipping port. Known for it’s quirky mish-mash of retro and vintage shopping, artisan marketplaces, hipster cafes, craft breweries and award-winning restaurants, you’ll find something for everyone here.
We spend the day visiting the iconic Fremantle Prison and historical Round House, cruising the cappuccino strip and immersing yourself in the rich port history at the Maritime Museum. Settle in for a relaxed lunch of local caught seafood at one of the many popular eateries overlooking the fishing boat harbor. To top it off, any trip to Fremantle wouldn’t be complete without a cold craft beer at the Little Creatures Brewery on the water’s edge.
Enjoy the afternoon in the lofty heights of Kings Park, one of the world’s largest and most beautiful inner-city parks. Take in the natural bushland and panoramic views of the City and Swan River and admire the native Australian flora as you stroll through the magnificent Botanic Gardens.
